GURNEE MILLS

Today Mama and I went to the mall with Grandma, Auntie Stacey, Kaitlyn and Colin. Can you believe I lasted 3 1/2 hours?!?!?!? That is a record. Mama was prepared and had lots of toys and snacks to help me keep busy. Kaitlyn switched spots with me so I could sit in the double stroller and play with Colin. This was a HUGE help!!!

CUBS GAME

On Sunday night my I spent the night at my cousins house so Mama and Dada could go to the Cubs game. It was Dada's birthday gift.

This just goes to show that nothing good comes out taking your own picture.

In honor of Memorial Day, Crystal Lake had a parade. Dada and I were waiting patiently for it to start.

SLEEPOVER

My first sleepover at the Willis house was a success. Colin was so nice to give up his room for me and sleep in Kaitlyn's room. I slept a solid 12 hours!

Auntie Stacey always takes such good care of me and I love her SOOO much!

I love to play with Colin's guitar. Mama says she is putting me in guitar lessons as soon as I am old enough!

Kaitlyn was reading me a book. My OT says it helps me organize when I lay on my belly.

Thanks again to Auntie Stacey, Uncle Cam, Kaitlyn and Colin for taking such good care of me TWICE this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!! XOXO

Memorial Day Weekend

FRIDAY

On Friday my friend Noah came over to play. He is almost exactly one year younger than me. We are going to be great buds!

OFF TO THE ZOO
On Saturday Mama and Dada took me to the zoo. My friend Logan, who lives across the street, invited us. They were so generous and even gave us free passes... THANKS!

BERTINI BBQ

After we went to the zoo, we went to the Bertini's house (my aunt, uncle and cousins). I did pretty well considering I only slept 20 minutes ALL day! Mama forgot to rotate this silly picture of me wearing swim goggles.

The past week...

Mama took me to play with Emmy. Emmy and I have been playing together for almost 2 years now. Mama and Ms. Heather joke about our ability to play well together... BUT look, we are rolling the ball back and forth, even if it only lasted a moment:-)

HOLY COW... I am only 1 and I went pee pee on the potty!!!!! Mama was so excited! She even let me call Dada at work and tell him all by myself. I really am becoming such a big boy! Mama says it is bitter sweet, not sure what that means.
On Friday Mama went out to dinner with her "girls." Since she was picking up Auntie Kaley she said I could come for a quick visit before bed. Auntie Kaley and Uncle Ben turned on Thomas for me, can you tell I was excited?!?!?!?

Happy Birthday Dada!

Today my Dada turned 31....WOW!!!

Mama and I woke up Dada this morning with breakfast in bed & Cubbies tickets!

After my nap, Mama and I went to Dada's work to bring him dinner. He was pretty busy so it was a short visit. Just long enough for me to make a mess with my cupcake and check everything out:-)

Today Mama & Dada had my 6 month meeting with all my therapists. Mama said things went very well. She said her and Dada were so proud that she was going to take me to Target to pick out a new toy.... meet Spike Jr!

Mama said a $42 box of diapers is even better when it entertains me for a half hour. I was being so silly and playing with the diaper box... check it out.

Tacos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those of you that are not familiar with Q's eating issues may not totally understand what the big deal is about an almost 2 year old eating tacos.... BUT for Q it is a huge accomplishment!!! I can hardly wait to tell his ST on Wednesday. Quintin had a bowl of taco meet mixed with rice. Typically he refuses unique textures, but he really seemed to enjoy his tacos. I can't begin to tell you how exciting it was to watch him, and how proud I was to see this progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
