Catch up pics....

I have been pretty exhausted lately and really slacking on the blog posts. Here is a little catch up post of random pics....
Look who is pulling himself to standing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanessa and I LOVE to watch our kiddos grow up together. The kids have done swimming together since they were babies. On Monday they started in a new swimming program. They were both sooooo excited!
Couldn't you just eat them up!?!?!?!?!?
Q getting ready to jump in
Trinity and Q are currently the only two kiddos with the teacher
That is Quintin on the stairs climbing to the top of the dolphin slide
My friend Rachel got Q a puzzle a few months ago and every since he is obsessed with puzzles. Every night we have a "date" when Zachary goes to bed. It is Q & Mommy's special time. The other night we had a puzzle & cookie date:-)
I often post some of my favorite pics and give my sister the credit. She typically gets the best pictures of the kids. They also TYPICALLY smile more for her then me... BUT not always.....
Wonder what he is crying about????????

LEE DEWYZE

My sister is a CRAZY Lee DeWyze fan... for those of you who don't know who he is, he won American Idol this past season. He is from Mount Prospect. When he made the final 3, he came to Arlington Track to put on a performance that was then recorded for Idol. Of course Stac was there for that concert! When she found out he was coming back to the track to perform she knew she had to go! She invited me to go along with her, her neighbors, and her BFF. Lucky for us, Randy just picked up a few security shifts at the track!
Stac was kissing major butt when she heard Randy would be working!
Randy ended up spending the entire day with Lee. He is all the way on the far right with the suit on and is standing directly next to Lee. Randy personally escorted him in a limo to the stage. Fans were going nuts and taking pics when Lee got out of the limo. I on the other hand was going nuts yelling Randy's name and taking his pic. I was a proud wife:-)
Lee does have a way of making my heart skip a beat! I think he was singing to me!
Thanks to Stac for inviting me along, I needed the break.... and thanks to Randy for the VIP treatment!!!

From preschool to mommy-hood!

On Saturday I got to have coffee with 2 of my oldest friends. Sonal and I grew up just a few houses from each other and shared every second of our childhood. Kaley.... also known as Baby Grant's mom lived just a few streets away. The 3 of us have so many childhood memories together. Kaley's son is just a few weeks younger then Zachary, and Sonal is expecting her first in November.... and it's a boy (bet you can't even tell she's prego)! Needless to say we could have spent all day gabbing and catching up! I told Randy it is amazing how LOOOOONG 2 hours at home feels like when the boys are crabby, and how it felt like I blinked my eyes when I was enjoying some girl time!

Mini Golf

This weekend was full of beautiful weather! Sunday was the perfect weather for mini golf!

Believe it or not, this is Randy's FIRST experience with the Bjorn!

Q was off to a great start!
I'm not proud to admit that Randy beat me playing one handed with a baby in front:-)

By the 10th hole Q was DONE! He decided it was more fun to ride his golf club

Home Depot

On Saturday we met some of my friend that I used to teach with. We met at Home Depot to do a kids craft. The kids made a football holder. It was so cute! We will definitely be doing this again! It's the first Saturday of every month in case you are interested:-)

Two and a half years ago we had Quintin evaluated by Early Intervention. He qualified for occupational therapy, developmental therapy, and speech therapy (for eating.... clearly not speech issues!!!!) Over the year he has slowly dropped DT and then ST. He has continued to work with Sakina & Winter for a group OT session once a week. With the start of preschool next week, we have decided he was ready to say goodbye to OT. He went and picked out flowers for the ladies and was SO proud to give them.

I snuck a few pics when he wasn't looking:-)

This is Sakina's adorable gym!!! Q really loves and needs the big rough swinging, jumping & playing!

Q with (from left to right) Sakina, Debbie & Winter

Saying bye to these ladies had the potential to be very emotional for me. Unfortunately, I was only saying goodbye for 2 weeks. Zachary is still having some pretty tough days. We had him evaluated last Friday. After 2 1/2 hours of meeting with 3 therapists they all agree that first and foremost, we need to get back to the GI and address the severity of his reflux. This will most likely mean a scope which upsets me to tears!!!!! There are red flags of sensory, which they feel may be caused by the reflux. I can't even believe this is happening AGAIN!

"Auntie Stacey always gets the best pics when she is babysitting:-) This is a goofy smile but you can see how silly I can be, and my 2 teeth:-)"
I have a feeling we will be seeing at least one more bottom teeth soon!

Melts my heart!

YUMMY!!!!!
