ER Visit

Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at around 12:30 am things took a turn for the worse at our house. I am exhausted but wanted to do a quick update. After 17 sleepless hours of crying, and trying MANY different techniques, we decided, along side our pediatrician, that it was time to make the trip to the Pedi ER at Lutheran General. We arrived around 9:00 and prepared for a long night. They started an IV and took base line labs, as well as a line to get a urine sample. Fortunately things came back normal. We got home around 2:30 and had to turn around and go back for our feeding evaluation today. Zachary started prevacid today and we are hopeful to see some relief within 7 days. Typically our doctor feels strongly about changing one thing at a time so we know what is working but at this point she doesn't feel we have the time to try one thing and wait a week. With that being said we are making a few changes and hoping to get Zachary some relief from the painful cries. Please continue to send positive thoughts our way!
